Very expected game in Limassol where 7th rankedApollon (2-6) was crushed by second ranked Keravnos (7-1) 98-76 on Monday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Keravnos dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Apollon 's 30. They outrebounded Apollon 41-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. The best player for the winners was guard Josh Hagins (187-1994, college: UALR, agency: Haylett Sports) who scored 26 points and 7 assists. Center Travis Taylor (203-1990, college: Xavier, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Keravnos . Defending champion maintains second place with 7-1 record behind leader AEK Larnaca. Apollon lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh position with six games lost.
