An interesting game forEtha (7-4) which hosted in Nicosia 4th placed APOP (4-7). Third ranked Etha had an easy win 67-45 . The game without a history. Etha led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Latvian Vanesa Jasa (180-2003) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 4 assists. American forward Paris Mullins (188-2001, college: Norfolk St.) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Etha's coach Skevi Georgiou felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Mariah Miller (182-1998, college: CSU) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and the former international Panagiota Themistokleous (185-2000) added 8 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for APOP. Newly promoted Etha maintains third place with 7-4 record having just three points less than leader Anagennises. APOP at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost.
