Regular Season Round 8: Atlantas - Anagennises 43-79

Date: December 7, 2025
The game in Paphou supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Anagennises (6-1) played at the court of 5th ranked APOP (1-7). Anagennises smashed APOP 79-43 on Sunday. Anagennises dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to APOP's 28. They outrebounded APOP 44-33 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Anagennises looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by APOP's players. The winners were led by American swingman Valerie Huerta (176, college: CWU, agency: Crossover Management) who scored that evening 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Slovakian center Vanda Kristlova (183-2003) supported her with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Anagennises' coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 25 points and 7 rebounds by American guard Rahmena Henderson (173, college: IUP) did not help to save the game for APOP. Her fellow American import center DaJah Daniel (193-1998, college: GCU) added 9 points and 14 rebounds for the hosts. Anagennises have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 6-1 record behind leader AEL. APOP lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with seven games lost. Anagennises will meet at home Etha (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. APOP will play against Petrolina AEK in Larnaca and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
