An interesting game forAEL (8-1) which played road game in Nicosia against 4th placed ENAD (3-6). First ranked AEL had an easy win 72-38 . AEL dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to ENAD 's 24. AEL forced 20 ENAD turnovers and outrebounded them 46-35 including 33 on the defensive glass. AEL looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by ENAD 's players. It was a good game for Liana Gobejishvili who led her team to a victory with 24 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Dontavia Waggoner (183-2001, college: Boston Coll.) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Waggoner is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Hannah Simental (173, college: Colorado St.) answered with 21 points and 8 rebounds and added 11 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for ENAD. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. AEL have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 8-1 record. ENAD lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with six games lost.
