Very significant wasAnagennises ' (#2, 9-1) victory against 3rd placed Etha (8-5) 67-42 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Etha. Slovakian center Vanda Kristlova (183-2003) stepped up and scored 8 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and international Emmelia Georgiou (180-2004) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side the former international point guard Rebecca Christodoulou (170-2002) responded with 14 points and Bulgarian guard Anna Kolyandrova (165-1997) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Anagennises (9-1) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain second place having five points less than leader AEL. Newly promoted Etha keeps the third position with five games lost.
