The game in Morfou was also quite interesting. Third rankedAEL (9-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Digenis (5-9). AEL did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 92-75 on Saturday. AEL looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Donte Clark (194-1994, college: Texas Southern) notched 31 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Myles Tate (183, college: App State) supported him with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Four AEL players scored in double figures. Even 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists by American guard Kieffer Punter (196-1999, college: Troy) did not help to save the game for Digenis . French-Mali power forward Sidiki Kone (211-2001) added 18 points and 14 rebounds for the hosts. Digenis' coach Dragan Raca rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. AEL have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 9-5 record having five points less than leader AEK Larnaca. Digenis lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth place with nine games lost.
