Sosnowiec outrebounded Stars 45-31 including 31 on the defensive glass. Sosnowiec looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Croatian point guard Matea Tadic (176-1999) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners and American guard Sydney Taylor (175-2001, college: Louisville) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side Canadian-Hungarian center Alexandria Kiss-Rusk (194-1993, college: McGill) responded with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Guyanese forward Joy Adams (180-1993, college: Iona) scored 18 points. Five Sosnowiec and four Stars players scored in double figures.
