Very expected game when 9th rankedNKA Pecs (9-11) lost at home to second ranked Atomeromu (17-2) 78-61 on Wednesday. The winners were led by the former international power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-1991) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and American swingman Eric Lockett (196-1995, college: NC State) supported him with 17 points and 4 assists. Lockett is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Atomeromu's coach Kostas Flevarakis used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds by center Gergo Meleg (206-2000, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) did not help to save the game for NKA Pecs . Bosnian power forward Ibrahim Durmo (202-1997) added 17 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Atomeromu maintains second position with 17-2 record having just two points less than leader Szombathely. Loser NKA Pecs dropped to the eighth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Alba.
