There was a surprise result in Pecs where thirteenth rankedPVSK-Veolia (5-18) beat higher ranked Sopron KC (12-12) 91-85 on Saturday. PVSK-Veolia made 30-of-36 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was guard Amorie Archibald (192-1999, college: La Tech) who had a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Kwame Vaughn (190-1990, college: CS Fullerton) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Brandon Garrett (206-1990, college: Murray St.) who recorded 22 points and 5 rebounds and forward Isaiah Mucius (203-1999, college: Wake Forest) added 16 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted PVSK-Veolia maintains thirteenth position with 5-18 record. Loser Sopron KC dropped to the eighth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Alba.
