There was no surprise in Budapest whereAtomeromu was defeated by Honved 91-79 on Saturday. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Zachary Simmons (205-1999, college: N.Texas) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Brandon Rush (193, college: YSU, agency: Olsta) chipped in 24 points during the contest. Guard Tony Hicks (189-1994, college: Louisville) responded with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Shereef Mitchell (185-2000, college: Ohio) scored 20 points. Five Honved and four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
