Very predictable result when third rankedSopron KC (6-1) defeated on the road bottom-ranked NKA Pecs (1-6) 90-80 on Wednesday. Strangely NKA Pecs outrebounded Sopron KC 39-25 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. American point guard Josh Thompson (183-1996, college: Ball St.) fired 23 points and 5 assists for the winners. Bosnian Fahrudin Manjgafic (207-1997) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Five Sopron KC players scored in double figures. Bosnian power forward Ibrahim Durmo (202-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Montenegrin Ognjen Carapic (193-1998) added 13 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Sopron KC . They moved-up to second place, which they share with Szombathely. NKA Pecs lost their sixth game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with six games lost.
