An interesting game forSopron (15-3) which hosted in Sopron one of their biggest challengers Szekszard (13-5). Third ranked Sopron had an easy win 87-63 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Szekszard. Sopron forced 19 Szekszard turnovers and outrebounded them 39-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. Sopron looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for international point guard Klaudia Papp (168-1995) who led her team to a victory with 20 points and 9 assists. Slovenian guard Zala Friskovec (179-1999) contributed with 17 points for the winners. South Sudanese-American power forward Maria Gakdeng (190-2003, college: UNC) replied with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Portuguese point guard Carolina Rodrigues (170-1998, agency: LBM Management) added 13 points in the effort for Szekszard. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Szekszard's coach Bianka Magyar gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sopron have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains third position with 15-3 record having just three points less than leader PEAC-Pecs. Szekszard at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost.
