The game in Budapest supposed to be also quite interesting. Third rankedAlba (13-6) played at the court of 7th ranked Honved (9-10). Alba smashed Honved 89-68 on Saturday. Alba looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international swingman David Vojvoda (196-1990) fired 19 points and 9 assists for the winners. The former international point guard Marcell Pongo (193-1997, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Alba players scored in double figures. American guard Brandon Rush (193, college: YSU, agency: Olsta) produced 24 points and Serbian guard Djordje Dimitrijevic (188-1997, college: Mercer, agency: Octagon Europe) added 13 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Alba . They maintain third place with 13-6 record having just two points less than leader Szolnok. Loser Honved keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Sopron KC.
