Rather expected game when 10th rankedDavid Kornel (4-18) was defeated at home by eighth ranked BEAC (9-13) 96-78 on Wednesday. It was a great shooting night for BEAC especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Center Eliza Farbas (190-2006) fired 25 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. point guard Sara Varga (167-2001) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five BEAC players scored in double figures. American guard Kirsten Deans (173-2001, college: Ole Miss) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists (made all of her twelve free throws !!!) and her fellow American import guard Jaddan Simmons (175, college: Michigan St.) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BEAC moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Vasas Akademia. David Kornel lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 18 games lost.
