Not a big story in a game when 11th rankedSamara-2 (2-14) was outplayed at home by sixth ranked Vladimir (8-8) 73-51 on Tuesday. Vladimir dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Samara-2 's 28. Vladimir had a 38-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Center Viktoriya Scherbakova (194-2001) had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Lidiya Malakhova (184-2003) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Vladimir's coach Maksim Polyakov felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side forward Daria Godyaeva (180-2005) responded with 14 points and guard Arina Malaeva (172-2006) scored 10 points and 4 assists. Vladimir have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Vladimir maintains sixth position with 8-8 record. Samara-2 lost fourth consecutive game. Samara-2 at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom place with 14 games lost.
