There was no surprise in Kursk where 10th rankedSparta&K (3-10) was crushed by third ranked Dynamo (9-3) 80-51 on Thursday. Dynamo forced 23 Sparta&K turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Belgian center Kyara Linskens (193-1996, agency: LBM Management) stepped up and scored 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and guard Yana Elberg (177-2004) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side center Kseniya Kuzmina (204-1996, agency: LBM Management) responded with 10 points and 6 rebounds and guard Sabrina Dovnar-Zapolskaia (169-2003) scored 5 points and 5 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dynamo moved-up to second place, which they share with MBA. Sparta&K at the other side keeps the tenth position with ten games lost.
