No shocking result in a game when third rankedKazanochka (14-6) outleveled on the road bottom-ranked Samara-2 (2-18) 100-62 on Monday. Kazanochka dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Samara-2 's 22. Kazanochka forced 22 Samara-2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Alina Ledneva (175-1997) who scored 23 points. Power forward Elena Fedotova (185-1990) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Kazanochka players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Ekaterina Tikhonova (195-2008, agency: LBM Management) who recorded 11 points and point guard Anna Zakomolkina (170-2005) added 13 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kazanochka have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Chevakata. Samara-2 lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 18 lost games.
