Very important is a home loss of third rankedKazanochka (16-8) against seventh ranked MBA-2 (12-12) on Thursday night. Host Kazanochka was defeated by MBA-2 in a tough game in Kazan 79-83 . It was a great shooting night for MBA-2 especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. Center Mariya Ushakova (196-2006, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Margarita Osmulkevich (180-2004) chipped in 19 points during the contest. Guard Alina Ledneva (175-1997) responded with 10 points and 6 assists and guard Nina Ulchenkova (175-2002) scored 11 points. Five Kazanochka players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. MBA-2 maintains seventh position with 12-12 record. Kazanochka at the other side dropped to the fourth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Dynamo-Farm.
