Regular Season Round 17: Vladimir - MBA-2 66-64

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th ranked MBA-2's (13-17) road loss to sixth ranked Vladimir (17-13) 64-66 on Tuesday. Svetlana Rozanova (183-2005) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and forward Anastasiya Zabolotskaya (176-2003) accounted for 11 points and 6 rebounds. Center Mariya Ushakova (196-2006, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) came up with 28 points and 8 rebounds and center Ekaterina Lyashenko (187-2006) added 9 points and 14 rebounds respectively for MBA-2 in the defeat. Newly promoted Vladimir maintains sixth place with 17-13 record. MBA-2 lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 17 games lost. Vladimir will meet at home higher ranked Dynamo-Farm (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MBA-2 will play against Dynamo-En.IVA (#4) in Ivanovo and hope to secure a win.
