Fourth-rankedLokomotiv-2 (21-10) made lots of trouble for first ranked MBA-2 (29-2) in Moscow on Sunday. MBA-2 managed to secure only three-point victory 84-81 . However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Lokomotiv-2. MBA-2 made 33-of-42 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game, while Lokomotiv-2 only scored thirteen points from the stripe. 30 personal fouls committed by Lokomotiv-2 helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Matvey Padius (194-2006) fired 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Timofey Shikalov (195-2006) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds. Four MBA-2 players scored in double figures. Center Pavel Ryabkov (202-2006) produced 10 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Andrey Marinchev (188-2008) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. MBA-2 maintains first position with 29-2 record. Lokomotiv-2 at the other side keeps the fourth place with ten games lost.
