No shocking result in a game when third rankedUniv.Surgut (13-6) beat 9th ranked Zenit-2 (9-8) in Saint Petersburg 80-71 on Saturday. The winners were led by center Andrey Pechkin (206-2002) who scored that evening 13 points and 5 rebounds and Vsevolod Tishin (197-2001) supported him with 10 points and 5 rebounds. Even 11 points and 6 assists by Egor Evstafev (200-2006) did not help to save the game for Zenit-2 . Center Ivan Kasyanov (205-2005, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 10 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Four Univ.Surgut and five Zenit-2 players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Univ.Surgut have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Temp-SUMZ and Dynamo Ufa. Loser Zenit-2 keeps the ninth position with eight games lost.
