VTB-Youth League top team -MBA-2 (36-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked UNICS-2 (13-25) in Kazan 89-67 . MBA-2 made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 UNICS-2 turnovers. Guard Timofey Shikalov (195-2006) notched 27 points to lead the effort and point guard Ivan Karpenko (188-2007) supported him with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Four MBA-2 players scored in double figures. Even 19 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists by point guard Magomednabi Khalilulaev (186-2006) did not help to save the game for UNICS-2 . Forward Matvey Spiridonov (201-2006) added 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. MBA-2 have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 36-2 record. UNICS-2 at the other side keeps the tenth place with 25 games lost.
