Very predictable result when third rankedCSKA-Junior (34-6) rolled over 8th ranked Parma-2 (20-20) in Moscow 79-49 on Saturday. CSKA-Junior forced 22 Parma-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 33-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by forward Nikita Mikheev (202-2009) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Georgiy Voronenko (205-2007, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) supported him with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four CSKA-Junior players scored in double figures. Even 6 points and 7 rebounds by Platon Tsygvintsev (197-2006) did not help to save the game for Parma-2 . Guard Ilnar Farkhutdinov (185-2007) added 11 points for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. CSKA-Junior have an impressive 16-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 34-6 record having six points less than leader MBA-2. Loser Parma-2 keeps the eighth place with 20 games lost.
