No shocking result in a game when seventh rankedCSKA-2 (16-10) beat 12th ranked Kupol-Rodniki (9-17) in Moscow 85-81 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. CSKA-2 outrebounded Kupol-Rodniki 39-27 including 27 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when CSKA-2 made 7 blocks. Guard Kirill Grigoriy (190-2009) nailed 21 points and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winning side and center Artem Oreshnikov (208-2004) accounted for 11 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks. Guard Grigoriy Tuchkov (183-2003) came up with 25 points and 5 assists and guard Dmitry Kuimov (190-2004) added 17 points respectively for Kupol-Rodniki in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. CSKA-2 moved-up to sixth place. Kupol-Rodniki lost their third game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 17 games lost.
