Very important is a road loss of second rankedDinamo (17-9) against ninth ranked Zenit-2 (13-14) on Saturday night. Visiting Dinamo was defeated by Zenit-2 in a tough game in Saint Petersburg 80-88 . Zenit-2 made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Zenit-2 outrebounded Dinamo 41-30 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Ivan Kasyanov (205-2005, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Guard Ivan Prokopenko (186-2004, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) chipped in 25 points. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Elkhan Akhmedov (182-1998) who recorded 19 points and 5 assists and forward Daniil Karvanen (200-1998) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dinamo G.'s coach Oleg Kiselev rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Zenit-2 maintains ninth position with 13-14 record. Loser Dinamo G. dropped to the fourth place with nine games lost.
