Mistelbach Mustangs toppled UDW Alligators to conquer the Zweite Liga title. The game was mostly controlled by Mustangs. Alligators managed to win third quarter 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mustangs forced 19 UDW Alligators turnovers. The best player for the winners was Czech forward Jakub Jokl (211-1996, college: Utah) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Czech guard Jan Kozina (182-1995) chipped in 8 points and 6 assists. Four Mustangs players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian center Marko Kolaric (213-1984, college: Chaminade) who recorded 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Slovakian forward Matej Drgon (206-1998, college: NWOSU) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
