Venezia used a home court advantage and outleveled the opponent from Fribourg 77-37 on Wednesday night. The game without a history. Venezia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Fribourg to just 7 points in first quarter. Martina Bestagno (189-90, agency: Two Points) fired 22 points for the winners. Slovakian center Marie Ruzickova (190-86, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds.
