Galatasaray clinched the first ever EuroCup title. They outlasted Strasbourg in the return leg of the Finals to capture the trophy. Stephane Lasme (203-C-82, college: Massachusetts) and Errick McCollum (185-PG-88, college: Goshen) scored 16 points each to pace Galatasaray as the Turkish team overcame a 4-point deficit from the opening leg.
Galatasaray jumped to a furious start. They rallied to a 9:2 lead early in the game. Galatasaray stayed red hot offensively in the first period. They recorded a 27:16 lead ten minutes into the game. Strasbourg narrowed the gap in the second frame. The French team tuned in defensively slowing their opponents down. Strasbourg pulled within 8 points at the interval 35:43. The visitors stayed aggressive throughout the third quarter. Strasbourg remained in the chase for the title as they trailed by just 7 points heading into the fourth frame. Strasbourg got as close as 6 points inside the final minute of regulation. Errick McCollum and Sinan Guler (192-SG-83, college: Carroll, MT, agency: 1x1 Sports) however sank three free throws and later Guler followed with a jumper to seal the victory and the trophy for Galatasaray. Sinan Guler chipped in 14 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and issued 6 assists for the champions. Mardy Collins (198-G-84, college: Temple) answered with 16 points for Strasbourg. Louis Campbell (190-PG-79, college: Buffalo) had 10 points in the loss.

Strasbourg earned the first victory in EuroCup Finals. The French powerhouse built a 4-point lead before the return leg in Istanbul. Louis Campbell (190-PG-79, college: Buffalo) posted 16 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts.
The teams got to a slow start. They combined for just 15 points in the first period with Galatasaray eking out a one-point lead. The teams traded baskets throughout the second term going neck and neck. Galatasaray enjoyed a 24:23 halftime advantage. The visitors stretched the margin in the third term. Galatasaray entered the final period up by two points 45:43. But Strasbourg managed to turn things around in the final frame. The hosts sank 23 points in the fourth stanza and raced to the win. Matt Howard (203-F-89, college: Butler) and Jeremy Leloup (202-F-87, agency: Comsport) nailed 11 points each for the hosts.
