Regular Season Round 3: Levallois - Fiat TO 73-79

No shocking result in a game when Italian Fiat TO (3-0) beat on the road French Paris-Levallois (0-3) 79-73 on Wednesday. Paris-Levallois trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 20-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 73-79 at the end of the game. Fiat TO forced 20 Paris-Levallois turnovers. It was a good game for American swingman Lamar Patterson (196-91, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import point guard Diante Garrett (196-88, college: Iowa St.) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Boris Diaw (203-82) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and American power forward Gavin Ware (206-93, college: Mississippi St.) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Paris-Levallois. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Fiat TO will face Darussafaka in Istanbul in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Paris-Levallois will play on the road against Andorra (#5) and hope to get finally their first victory.
