Regular Season Round 4: Andorra - Levallois 79-61

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Spanish Andorra and bottom-ranked French Paris-Levallois had identical 0-3 record. This time Andorra used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Levallois 79-61 on Tuesday night. The game without a history. Andorra led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Andorra shot 26 for 40 from the free-throw line, while Paris-Levallois only scored ten points from the stripe. Andorra forced 19 Paris-Levallois turnovers. Paris-Levallois were plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese-Spanish center Moussa Diagne (211-94, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Jaime Fernandez (186-93) who added 11 points and 4 assists during the contest. Diagne is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Andorra players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Gavin Ware (206-93, college: Mississippi St.) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import point guard Louis Campbell (191-79, college: Buffalo) scored 12 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Andorra maintains fifth position in Group A with 1-3 record. Loser Paris-Levallois still closes the standings with four games lost. Andorra will face league's leader Darussafaka in Istanbul in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Paris-Levallois will play at home against Cedevita (#3) and hope to get finally their first victory.
