Regular Season Round 8: Partizan NIS - RETAbet BB 67-83

An interesting game was played in Beograd where Spanish RETAbet BB (#6) beat host Serbian Partizan (#5) with 16-point difference 83-67 on Wednesday evening. The game was mostly controlled by RETAbet BB. Partizan managed to win third quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. RETAbet BB looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Partizan's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Argentinian guard Lucio Redivo (183-94) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds and Belgian forward Axel Hervelle (205-83) who added 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four RETAbet BB players scored in double figures. American guard Nigel Williams-Goss (191-94, college: Gonzaga) responded with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Novica Velickovic (205-86, agency: BeoBasket) scored 13 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. RETAbet BB (2-6) moved-up to fifth place in Group C. Loser Partizan dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. RETAbet BB will meet at home league's leader Lokomotiv in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Partizan will play against Limoges CSP Elite (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
