Szeged handed Foton the second loss in as many games in EuroCup preliminary round in Group D. The Hungarian teams got into the same pool and Szeged proved strength in both outings. The victory also allowed Szeged to stay untamed on top of the ladder. Olena Zherzherunova came up with 17 points and 6 rebounds to pace Szeged. Desire Almind secured 14 points in the winning case. Hajdana Radunovic answered with game-high 20 points and 8 rebounds for Foton. Furesz knocked down 15 points in defeat. It was the fourth loss in five games for Foton.
