Panellinios eliminated Benetton from the EuroCup race claiming a road victory tonight. The Greek team posted the third 85:81 victory and stepped closer to the qualifying into the tournament's quarterfinals. The guests won the opening tip of the game and Manolis Papamakarios and Smith combined for 8 points to put the visitors back ahead 18:14. Panellinios finished the opening quarter at 22:20 and looked forward to keep the score for good. They managed to win the second period as well to take 43:38 deficit at the halftime. In the second half the Italian team started to play better. Neal eventually gave Treviso its first lead of the game 58:57. Right after that the score was tied at 66:66, while the visitors dominated the end of the game. Smith, Wallace and Charalampidis scored for 75:70 lead, while Neal responded from the perimeter.Panellinios won the fourth period 24-23 and the game itself, 85:81. Devin Smith notched 27 points to lead Panellinios. Kosta Charalampidis nailed 26 points in the winning effort. Gary Neal responded with 25 points for Benetton as they slipped at 0-4 record. K.C. Rivers had 13 points in the loss.
