Quarter-Finals Round 2: G.Canaria 2014 - Panellinios 75-68

Panellinios have reached the EuroCup semifinals. The Greek team lost to Gran Canaria in Spain but won the clash on aggregate. Panellinios entered the game with an 11-point cushion. But Gran Canaria were not about to give up without a fight. The Spaniards marked their ambitions in the opening frame. They outgunned the visitors by 8 points claiming a 20:12 lead. Panellinios adjusted their offense in the second stanza and cut the margin at 7 points at halftime 32:39. The third quarter did not bring any relief for the visitors as Gran Canaria mounted the pressure. Jaycee Carroll allowed the hosts to enter the fourth period ahead by as many as 9 points. But Panellinios survived the challenge. Roderick Blakney and Kosta Charalampidis helped the Hellenes won the fourth quarter escaping into the EuroCup semis. Roderick Blakney finished with 15 points for Panellinios. Kosta Charalampidis added 14 points in a sweet loss for the visitors. Jaycee Carroll replied with 17 points for Gran Canaria. Melvin Sanders provided 12 points for the hosts. Panellinios will now face Valencia on April 17.
