Benetton Basket Bwin march into the Eurocup Regular Season after another comfortable win over Cyprus representative. Apoel tried hard but lost the game in Italy 63:84. Benetton wins 181-118 after two games in total. After an easy away victory Italian team started with 11:2 in the opening tip. Motiejunas made it 20:4 and Smith scored for 22:6. The lead continued to grow as the hosts did not even think of slowing down in the second frame. Bulleri brought 30:15 and Gentile nailed three for 33:18. Toolson drove a lay-up for 43:21 and Fisher sent the teams to the lockers. The third quarter also belonged to Benetton Basket Bwin as they reached 62:40 at the end of it. Wojciechowski made a lay-up as the hosts won the frame 19-18. Peric and Gentile opened the last frame and Wojciechowski brought 70:42 on the board. Apoel however managed to win the last quarter 23-22 to reduce the gap a bit in the game. Fisher brought the last three points for the guests to make the final score in the court. Peric and Wojciechowski stepped up for the winners with 16 points each, while Bulleri added 13. Gentile and Toolson delivered 11 points apiece. Fisher ended up with 25 points in the losing effort, Hanavan nailed 14, whilst Davis added 13.
