Qualifying Round Round 3: Mann Filter - Alges 87-39

Mann Filter hosted Alges and rolled over them 87-39 in a one sided match. Beginning did not promise such ending as the game was pretty evenly matched. Hosts closed the first period with mini run which gave them 23-18 lead. Than from the second quarter only one team played on the court. Mann filter players increased defence and have limited Alges to only 5 points in the quarter. As result they held 39-21 lead at the halftime. They continued to pound on their opponent as they were executing almost perfectly on the offensive end. Lead continued to rise for Mann Filter in the third period, and hosts entered last 10 minutes holding more than comfortable 60-31 lead. In the fourth period, Alges continued to struggle on offensive end, while they could not contain Mann Filter players attacks. Hosts went on to win the final period 27-6 which was enough to see them celebrate 87-39 blowout win. Zlatanova, Pascua and Pina led the rout with 14 points apiece while Pina also grabbed 11 boards. Henry followed with 12 points while duo of Royo and Kresovic chipped in 11 points. For Alges, Vrodljak led the way with 16 points in this game. Foreid also scored in double figures after she finished the game with 10 points.
