Galatasaray posted the second straight EuroCup victory. They held off Bennet Cantu in Istanbul. The hosts stayed undefeated at 2-0 record in Group E. Bennet Cantu fell at 1-1 record. Luksa Andric paced the home side with 19 points. Luksa Andric and Taylor Rocheste opened the game with five points in a row for Galatasaray. But Bennet Cantu did not allow the hosts to run away. The Italian team stayed close throughout the opening quarter. The Turkish team led by only two points 18:16 after ten minutes. Galatasaray cleared off midway through the second term when they went on a 10:0 run. Taylor Rocheste and Shumpert gave Galatasaray a 40:26 lead at halftime. Maarten Leunen fired 8 points early in the third term as Bennet Cantu narrowed the deficit. Luksa Andric responded with a bunch of points late in the stanza as Galatasaray recorded a 56:42 lead with ten minutes to go. Luksa Andric unloaded 8 points in the final quarter to help Galatasaray cruise to the victory. Taylor Rocheste provided 14 points, 6 boards and 3 assists for Galatasaray. Ermal Kurtoglu added 12 points in the winning effort. Vladimir Micov answered with 14 points for Bennet Cantu. Maarten Leunen accounted for 10 points in the loss.
