Regular Season Round 3: Goettingen - Vrsac 68-57

Goettingen kept their EuroCup record spotless. They held off Hemofarm at home court to climb at 3-0 record in Group B. Hemofarm suffered just the first defeat at the tournament. Dwayne Anderson delivered 17 points and 13 rebounds to lead the German team to the victory. Goettingen opened the game with a 7:0 run. Hemofarm got back to life midway through the starting quarter as they narrowed the gap to just two points 11:13. Goettingen however pulled away once again as they posted a 20:13 lead at the first break. Robert Kulawick stretched the lead to 12 points early in the second period. But Hemofarm did not surrender. They went on a 9:0 run to cut the distance at just 4 points at halftime 32:28. Milan Macvan was active early in the third period as he dragged Hemofarm closer. Eventually the visitors grabbed a 43:42 lead. Goettingen got back into the drivers seat as they headed into the final quarter up by two points 51:49. Hemofarm got back within one but that was where Dwayne Anderson stepped up for the hosts. He triggered a 13:0 run that killed the intrigue in this one. Goettingen ran away and celebrated the third straight win. Mike Scott notched 16 points for the winners. Robert Kulawick added 12 points, 5 assists and 4 boards for Goettingen. Milan Macvan replied with 16 points for Hemofarm. Marko Sutalo netted 14 points in the loss.
