Estudiantes registered the second consecutive EuroCup Last 16 stage win. They overcame Galatasaray in Istanbul to improve at 2-0 record in Group K. They share the top position with Pepsi Caserta. Galatasaray fell at 0-2 record. Galatasaray needed a win badly in this one and they surged ahead early in the encounter. But the Spaniards withstood the challenge and kept it close in the opening stanza. Estudiantes trailed by just a single point after ten minutes. Things got better for Estudiantes in the second period. They put their noses in front and rallied to a 41:39 halftime lead. Estudiantes dominated in the third frame. Galatasaray managed just 9 points in the period and faced a 5-point deficit at the final break. The hosts stayed hopeful till the final minutes but Granger and Daniel Clark scored five points in a row late in regulation and the visitors ran away for good in this one. Josh Asselin provided 16 points for Estudiantes. Daniel Clark had 10 points in the victory. Luksa Andric answered with 14 points for Galatasaray. Jerry Johnson chipped in 11 points in the loss.
