Pepsi Caserta continued their winning streak in Europe. They posted the second win in a row in EuroCup Last 16 round. Pepsi Caserta stay at 2-0 record, while Nymburk slipped at 0-2 in Group K. Eric Williams paced the winners with 18 points. Nymburk got to the better start. Led by Chester Simmons the Czech champions posted an 18:13 lead after ten minutes. But Pepsi Caserta improved their offense in the second quarter. The Italian team unleashed 28 points in the quarter and knotted things up at 41 at halftime. The teams traded baskets throughout the third stanza. Pepsi Caserta proved more accurate as they eked out a 58:56 lead into the final stanza. Pepsi Caserta came up with nearly perfect defensive performance in the fourth term. They held the hosts to 12 points and rolled to the victory at the end. Ebi Ere nailed 15 points, while Timothy Bowers added 13 points in the winning case. Chester Simmons responded with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for Nymburk. Pavel Pumprla added 14 points in the loss.
