Quarter-Finals Round 2: Asefa Estudian. - Cedevita 72-81

Cedevita stunned almost 14,000 spectators at the Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid tonight. The Croatian team came up with a big road win over Estudinates to seal their EuroCup Final Four birth. Bracey Wright came up with 24 points, 11 boards and 3 assists to carry Cedevita to the victory. Cedevita entered the game having a 9-point cushion from the home clash. But Estudiantes showed their ambitions in the opening minutes. The hosts grabbed a 10:3 lead early on. Estudiantes kept the fans on their feet gaining a 14:6 advantage but Cedevita gradually came back to life and eventually erased the deficit. Bracey Wright gave the visitors 26:25 lead after ten minutes. Estudiantes pulled back in front in the second term but not for too long. Bracey Wright organized a 7:0 rally that gave Cedevita a 37:36 lead. Estudiantes put their noses in front once again and took a 42:41 lead at halftime. Vedran Vukusic and Princ silenced the Spanish crowd midway through the third stanza as Cedevita piled up a 57:51 lead. Estudiantes got closer but faced a bitter 57:60 deficit with just ten minutes to go. The visitors quickly boosted the lead to 6 points and though Estudiantes managed to get as close as two points Cedevita rolled comfortably to the victory at the end. Vedran Vukusic produced 15 points, while Dontaye Draper had 13 in the win. Pancho Jasen and German Gabriel replied with 12 points apiece. Tyrone Ellis finished with 11 points in defeat.
