But the hosts managed to retain the lead as they were up by two at halftime 23:21. Devin Smith and Nicevic opened the second half with five points in a row to stretch the margin. Benetton maintained the lead throughout the bigger part of the quarter before Troha and Rudez hit consecutive triples giving Cedevita a 37:36 lead at the final intermission. Donatas Motiejunas, Devin Smith and Peric helped the home team back in charge 42:37 early in the final period. But back-to-back three-pointers from Dontaye Draper and Vedran Vukusic ensured a 46:44 lead for the visitors. The lead then changed hands for several times before Dontaye Draper and Bracey Wright made it 58:54 for Cedevita. Bulleri kept Benetton hopeful with a three-pointer and the hope got even bigger after Dontaye Draper missed both of his free throws. But Corsley Edwards pulled down an offensive rebound and hit one of two freebies to seal the win for Cedevita. Dontaye Draper produced 10 points, while Vedran Vukusic had 9 points in the victory.
