Preliminary Round Day 3: SLOVENIA - POLAND 38-55

First victory for Poland at the U18 EuroBasket in Oradea. Poland defeated Slovenia 38-55 and it was enough for the second place in Preliminary Group B. Slovenia also made 1-2 record, but they finished as third ranked team in this pool. Both countries advanced to the next stage. They will be moved to Qualifying Group E together with four more teams. Karolina Wilk stepped up for the winners with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Dominika Owczarzak scored 10 points and grabbed 6 boards, while Donimika Miloszewska added 9 points and 11 rebs. In the loosing squad, Rebeka Abramovic collected 11 points and 7 rebounds. Their second scorer was Alina Gjerkes with 10 points (7 rebs). Quarters: 6-15, 13-11, 7-11, 12-18. Championship continues on Monday.
