Qualifying Round Day 5: SLOVENIA - ROMANIA 57-53

Slovenia celebrated their first win in Qualifying Group E of the U18 EuroBasket in Oradea. They outplayed the host of this event 57-53 for 1-3 record in this pool. Thanks to this win Slovenia still has a chance to reach the Quarterfinals. They will meet Turkey today. On the other side, Romania dropped to 0-4. They are already out of the Quarterfinals. Rebaka Abramovic led Slovenia with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Alina Gjerkes and Nina Gabrovsek helped with 12 points and 9 boards each. For the hosts, Sonia Ursu responded with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Alina Craciun had 14 pts and 5 rebs, while Oana Baluta added 9 points, plus 13 boards. Quarters: 14-16, 23-15, 8-10, 12-12.
