Dexia Mons-Hainaut reached EuroCup regular season. They stunned ambitious Besiktas at home court overcoming an 8-point deficit after the game in Turkey. A.J. Slaughter delivered 19 points to pace the Belgian side. The game looked to go Besiktas way in the first half. The Turkish team were well in control of their fate opening an 18:8 lead late in the period. Dexia cut the deficit to just four points at the first intermission 14:18. The hosts got within a single point midway through the second quarter 27:28. However Hawkins scored five points in a 7:1 run that gave the visitors a 35:28 lead. Dexia surprised Besiktas in the third term. They went on a 21:2 run to grab a 49:39 lead. The hosts entered the fourth frame up by as many as 8 points 53:45. Erceg drained a triple at the beginning of the final stanza but Dexia answered with 13 points in a row to accumulate an 18-point buffer. Erceg, Deron Williams and Marcelus Kemp dragged Besiktas within 9 points with ten seconds to go 63:72. Ronell Taylor knocked down two free throws but Erceg had a chance to save the visitors. His three-pointer though missed the mark and Besiktas had to surrender at the end. Ahmad Nivins posted 18 points, while Ronell Taylor, Justin Cage and Warren Carter had 9 points each in the victory. Marcelus Kemp answered with 18 points for Besiktas. Ersin Dagli netted 13 points in the losing effort.
