Lietuvos Rytas opened their winning account at the EuroCup regular season. They travelled to Novo Mesto in Slovenia to clinch a tough win over local Krka in Group F. Tyrese Rice scored 19 points to pace the visitors. Krka showed their ambitions in the opening quarter taking a 21:18 lead after ten minutes. The hosts stretched the margin to 6 points early in the second term. Krka stayed in control posting a 39:35 halftime advantage. The hosts did not allow Lietuvos Rytas to pull ahead in the third term. Krka headed into the fourth quarter up by 6 points 59:53. But the Lithuanian powerhouse went on a 14:0 run in the fourth term to grab a 69:61 advantage. Krka never recovered from the blow and had to surrender at the end. Mindaugas Katelynas nailed 15 points, while Renaldas Seibutis added 12 points in the win. Jerome Jordan stepped up with 20 points and 8 rebounds for Krka. Allan Ray finished with 14 points in defeat.
