Bayern Munich posted the initial win at the EuroCup regular season. Je'Kel Foster scored 14 points to lead the German team to a comfortable home success against Benetton Treviso. The hosts strongly finished the opening period to take a 19:13 lead after ten minutes. Bayern entered the second term on a 6:0 run to clear off. they registered a 25:13 advantage midway through the period. But the visitors soon went on an 8:0 rally of their own to cut the deficit. Bayern though made it 36:31 at the big break. The hosts kept their opponents at distance throughout the third term. Bayern entered the final frame up by as many as 10 points 56:46. Bayern marched to the win in the final period giving little chance for Benetton. Jan-Hendrik Jagla had 12 points, while Chevon Troutman provided 11 points and 10 rebounds i n the win. Alessandro Gentile replied with game-high 19 points for Benetton. E'Twaun Moore and Massimo Bulleri had 9 points each in the loss.
