Rudupis successfully debuted in EuroCup. They overcame Groningen on the road to take the first win in Group C. Gediminas Orelikas scored 22 points, grabbed 6 boards and issued 4 assists to lead the effort. Gediminas Orelikas unloaded 10 ponts in the first quarter as Rudupis earned a 22:19 lead. They went on a 16:2 run early in the second quarter to clear off. Rudupis enjoyed a 43:30 halftime lead. The Lithuanian team kept in charge throughout the third term. They posted a 61:50 advantage with ten minutes remaining. The Flames however went on a 7:0 run early in the final period to cut the deficit. The hosts got within three points late in regulation 75:78. But Dainius Salenga and Simas Buterlevicius went deadly from the line in the final seconds and sealed the win for Rudupis. Simas Buterlevicius scored 13 points, while Dainius Salenga had 12 in the victory. David Bell responded with 18 points for Rudupis. Jason Dourisseau netted 16 points and 9 rebounds in the loss.
