Regular Season Round 5: Gorizont - Botas 70-90

Botas registered its fifth straight win in EuroCup. The Turkish squad cruised past Gorizont as a guest 70-90 securing the first place in Group A of the regular season. The hosts dropped to 2-4 and they already played all six games. The last round will give us an answer who will take the second position in this pool. Quianna Chaney top-scored in victory with 18 points. Marina Kress (9 rebs) and Monica Wright followed with 16 points each. In the loosing squad, Tatyana Troina (5 rebs) and Natalia Anufryienka added 17 points apiece. Aleksandra Khomenchuk stopped to 8 pts and 6 rebs. Quarters: 21-24, 21-24, 12-23, 16-19. Botas will host Dynamo Moscow in the next round. As mentioned above, Gorizont already played its six games at this phase.
