Rudupis continued their fight for EuroCup Last 16 ticket. They earned the third win in the regular season cruising past Groningen at home court tonight. Dainius Salenga scored 15 points to lead Rudupis. The Lithuanian team is now tied with Aris at 3-2 record in Group C. Rudupis led from start to finish in this one. The hosts built a 21:14 lead after ten minutes. GasTerra Flames increased the tempo in the second frame but it was well-matched by Rudupis. The hosts gained a 45:36 halftime lead. Rudupis stretched the gap in the third quarter. The home team boosted the margin to as many as 16 points at the final intermission. Rudupis unloaded 28 points in the fourth frame and cruised to the victory at the end. Edgaras Zelionis had 14 points, while Arminas Urbutis added 13 points in the victory. David Bell and Avis Wyatt produced 13 points each in the loss.
